Warp it Up

To do this tutorial you will need a working
knowledge of PSP. If you are new to PSP, or have a problem doing this
tutorial, you can find me at Raven's PSP forum, be
happy to help you out.
You also need this tile made by Topsy.
Right click to save it.

Open a new image, 500 X 500, Transparent background.
Copy and Paste the texture, so it will be automatically centered.

Go to Effects>Geometric Effects>Warp.
Use these settings. Click OK.

Go to Image>Mirror. Use the same settings to Warp it again.

You should have the start of 2 wings now.

Change your horizontal setting to Zero to shape the head.
Change the size to 37, or experiment some. Click OK.
Just a degree or two can give very different results.

Change your vertical setting to 15, increase the size to 40. Click OK.
You should have something that resembles a butterfly now.:)

Go to Effects>Sharpen>Unsharp Mask. Use the default settings.
Go to Layers>Duplicate.
Change the Layer Blend Mode to Soft Light.
Go to Layers>Merge>Merge Visible.
That's it, you're done.:)
