Just an idea for using gradients
Click here to
download my Streak Gradient
Start with an image 500 X 500 pixels.

Layer one-Gradient set to Linear-Repeats 0-Angel 90 degrees
|
|
|
|
Layer 2-Gradient set to Sunburst-Repeats 0. Set Layer Blend Mode to
Difference.
|
|
|
|
Layer 3-Gradient set to Radial-Repeats 1-Set Layer Blend Mode to Overlay.
Note: Gradients
can be tricky.:)
If your setting doesn't give this result, go to Linear settings and make
sure that is set to 0 degrees..then go to Radial and try again.

|
Merge All Visible. Go to Effects>Artistic Effects>Glowing
Edges.
Intensity 5 Sharpness 1
