Old Yella Gradient Trick

Just an idea for using gradients

Click here to
download my Old Yella Gradient.
Start with an image 500 X 500 pixels.

Layer one-Gradient set to Linear-Repeats 0-Angle 0

|
|
|
|
Go to Effects>Texture Effects>Blinds. Use these Settings.
|
|
|
|
Go to Effects>Geometric Effects>Circle.

|
|
|
|
Go to Effects>Texture Effects>Polished Stone.
Use these settings. Color #404040.

|
|
Click on the selection tool.
Set it to Circle, Antialias Checked.
Start in center, select a circle a little smaller than your circle
image.
Go to Selections>Modify>Feather. Set it to 1.
Go to Selections>Invert. Go to Edit> Clear.
Go to Selections>Select None.

|
Go to Layers>Duplicate.
Go to Image>Rotate. Set it to 90 degrees.
Make sure "All Layers" is NOT Checked.
Set the Layer Blend Mode to Difference.
You can call it done now.

If you'd like a different effect.
Go Layers>Merge>Merge Visible.
Go to Effects>Artistic Effects>Colored Foil.
Use these settings. Color Black.

|
|
|
Best to save it as a PSP file without a drop shadow.
