Dot Gradient Trick

Just an idea for using gradients

Start with an image 500 X 500 pixels.

Layer one-Gradient set to Sunburst-Repeats 0-

Layer 2-Gradient set to Radial-Repeats 30. Set Layer Blend Mode to Difference.

Layer 3-Gradient set to Sunburst-Repeats 30-set Layer Blend Mode to Burn.

You can try different Layer Blend Modes for different effects. Here Layer 3 is set to Difference.

Here I merged the layers and used the Rough Leather filter. Setting Custom 1.
