Just an idea for using gradients
Click here to
download my Berry Gradient
Start with an image 500 X 500 pixels.

Layer one-Gradient set to Linear-Repeats 1-Angle 0
|
|
|
|
Layer 2-Gradient set to Sunburst-Repeats 0-set Layer Blend Mode to Difference.
|
|
|
|
Layer 3-Gradient set to Radial-Repeats 1. Set Layer Blend Mode to Dodge.
|
|
|
|
Merge All Visible. Go to Effects>Artistic Effects>Chrome. Use these
Settings.
|
|
|
|
Duplicate Layer. Go to Colors>Negative Image. Set Layer Blend Mode to
Soft Light.
|
|
|
|
Setting the Layer Blend Mode to Dodge gives an
interesting result too.
|
Experiment with textures, bevels, colors or whatever.
|
|
|
