Techno Texture

 
This tutorial is NOT to be scripted or made into a "Quick Guide" unless it is for your own personal use. 
 

To do this tutorial you will need a working knowledge of PSP. If you are new to PSP, or have a problem doing this tutorial, you can find me at Raven's PSP forum, be happy to help you out.

 

 


Open a new image 600 X 300, transparent background..
Flood Fill with color #8C8C8C.

 

 


Go to Effects>Texture Effects>Weave
Use these settings. Color Black.

 

 


Go to Effects>Texture Effects>Sandstone.
Use these settings. Color #575757

Note: If you want a variety of techno textures this is the step to experiment with.
          Try different settings or texture effects ..endless possibilities.
          Click here to see examples.

 

 


Set your Foreground Color to #B0EBF0
Go to Effects>Artistic Effects>Hot Wax Coating.

 

 


Go to Effects>Texture Effects>Mosaic-Antique
Use these settings.


 

 

Go to Effects>Artistic Effects>Charcoal.
Set it Detail 92, Opacity 15.
Do that twice.

 

 

Go to Layers>Duplicate.
Go to Effects>Artistic Effects>Chrome.
Use these settings on the duplicate layer.

 

 

Open your Layer Palette and set the Layer Blend Mode to Hard Light.

 

 

Double Click on your Selection Tool .
Use these settings to select the right side of your image.
Go to Edit>Copy Merged.


Open a New Image 670 X 300.
Go to Edit>Paste>As New Layer, move it over to the left.


Go to Layer>Duplicate and then Image>Mirror.
Go to Layers>Merge>Merge Visible.

 

 

Go to Effects>Enhance Photo>Automatic Contrast Enhancement.
Use these settings.

Go to Image>Flip.

That's it, you're done.:)

Since this image is very large, use one of the Sharpen tools on it when you resize it.
