Logs Texture

| This tutorial is
NOT to be scripted or made into a "Quick Guide" unless it is
for your own personal use.
|
|
|
To do this tutorial you will need a working knowledge of
PSP. If you are new to PSP, or have a problem doing this tutorial, you
can find me at Raven's
PSP forum, be happy to help you out.
|
|
|
|
Open a new image 300 X 300, transparent background.
Flood Fill
with Color #6D5941.

|
|
|
|
Go to Effects>Texture Effects>Fine Leather.
Use these settings. Color #DCDCDC.

|
|
|
|
Go to Effects>Geometric Effects>Wave.
Use these settings.


Repeat

|

|
|
Go to Effects>Texture Effects>Blinds.
Use these settings. Color Black.


|
|
|
Go to Effects>Artistic Effects>Enamel.
Use these settings. Color #8B7351.
|
|
|
Go to Effects>Geometric Effects>Wind.
Set it to Strength 10- From Right.
|
|
|
Go to Effects>Sharpen>Sharpen.
|
|
|
Go to Colors>Colorize.
Set it Hue 28 Saturation 60
|
|
|
Go to Layers>Duplicate.
Go to Effects>Edge>Find Horizontal.
|
|
|
Go to Colors>Negative Image.
|
|
|
Open your Layer Palette.
Click on the arrow next to Normal on the Copy of Layer 1.
Set it to Multiply.
Go to Layers>Merge>Merge Visible.
Experiment with Retouch Tool
set to Soften to smooth some of the edges.
If you'd like a different color for your logs, experiment with the
Manual Color Correction. You'll find it under Effects>Enhance Photo.
That's it, you're done.:)
