Glassy or Ceramic Texture

| This tutorial is
NOT to be scripted or made into a "Quick Guide" unless it is
for your own personal use.

To do this tutorial you will need a working knowledge of
PSP. If you are new to PSP, or have a problem doing this tutorial, you
can find me at Raven's
PSP forum, be happy to help you out.

|
Open a new image 300 X 300, transparent background.
Flood Fill
with color #808080.

|
|
|
|
Go to Effects>Illumination Effects>Sunburst.
Use these settings. Color #C0C0C0.

|
|
Go to Effects>Texture Effects>Fine Leather.
Use these settings. Color #050505.


|
|
|
|
Go to Effects>Texture Effects>Rough Leather.
Use these Settings. Leather Color White, Light Color Black.

|
|
|
|
That's it you're done.
Go to Colors>Colorize.
Make your texture any color you like.
Here I used Hue 136, Saturation 121

Ceramic
Tip from LindaMaire of New
Dawn Designs..
"I was fooling with the settings for the rough
leather step and changed the blur to 33 and thought it looked kind of
ceramic...so I beveled it with the angled preset (except I changed the
width and depth to 1) and thought that this makes an almost perfect
ceramic tile! I started with an image 100x100. Coloring was done using
manual color correction."
