Denim Texture

| This tutorial is
NOT to be scripted or made into a "Quick Guide" unless it is
for your own personal use.

|
|
To do this tutorial you will need a working knowledge of
PSP. If you are new to PSP, or have a problem doing this tutorial, you
can find me at Raven's
PSP forum, be happy to help you out.
|
|
|
|
Open a new image 300 X 300, transparent background.
Flood Fill
with Color #C0C0C0.

|
|
|
|
Go to Effects>Geometric Effects>Wave.
Use these settings.
You may have to look pretty close to see a result, but
it's there.
|
|
|
|
Go to Effects>Edge>Dilate.

|
|
|
|
Set your Foreground Color to White.
Go to Effects>Artistic Effects>Hot Wax Coating.

Repeat.

|
|
|
Go to Effects>Texture Effects>Sandstone.
Use the setting Custom 2.
|
|
|
Go to Effects>Texture Effects>Mosaic - Glass.
Use these settings

|
Go to Effects>Texture Effects>Polished Stone.
Use these settings. Color #373737.

|
Go to Colors>Colorize.
Set it to Hue 148 Saturation 53.
|
|
|
Go to Layers>Duplicate.
Go to Effects>Blur>Motion Blur.
Set it to Direction 45 Intensity20.
|
|
|
Click the arrow next to Normal on Copy of Layer 1.
Set it to Screen.
For a little different look
Set the Layer Blend Mode to Lighten
 |
Set the Layer Blend Mode to Exclusion
 |
That's it, you're done.:)
