| This
tutorial is NOT to be scripted or made into a
"Quick Guide" unless it is for your own
personal use. |
| |
To do this tutorial you will need a working knowledge of PSP.
If you are new to PSP, or have a problem doing this tutorial,
you can find me at Raven's
PSP forum, be happy to help you out.
You

|

|
| |
To give it an underwater look, duplicate your riverbed
background as a new layer.
Go to Layers>Duplicate.
Set the Layer Blend Mode to Multiply.
Add Jasc's corrugated
mask and lower the opacity.
Mangle that layer anyway you like to
give some shadows to the water.
Keep this layer on top.
|
| |
Add a new Layer for Jasc River Rocks tubes.
Place your rocks, use the Magic Wand to select them.
Keep your selection active, click on the background on your layer
palette.
Go to Selections>Promote to Layer.
Open your Layer Palette,
Move your promoted layer up over rocks.
Set the Layer Blend Mode to Multiply.
Open your Layer Palette, right click on your promoted layer.
Go to View>Current Only.
Click the red x off, on your rock layer to show that layer also.
Right click on that layer, go to Merge>Merge Visible.
Blur it just a little.
Right click on your layer again, go to View>All.

|

Jasc Corrugated mask
You'll find it with the extras on the CD.
|

Jasc preset shape
|
|
Take the fish shape out of the preset shape and color it. Add it as a new layer,
use a little motion blur on it, duplicate it
and resize it a few times.
You can do a lot of experimenting with these settings to get different
effects.
