Line Effect

for your own personal use.

To do this tutorial you will need a working
knowledge of PSP. If you are new to PSP, or have a problem doing
this tutorial, you can find me at Raven's
PSP forum, be happy to help you out.

You can find the Eliminate White Filter on the Free
Stuff page at Diztec.com.

Open new image 450 X 250.
Flood Fill with
the Ocean gradient.
Go to Colors>Adjust>Brightness/Contrast.
Use these settings.

|
Go to Layers> New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill with White.
Go to Effects>Geometric Effects>Tiles.
Use these Settings.

|
Use the Eliminate White Filter

|
|
|
Go to Effects>Artistic Effects> Hot Wax
Color #202020
|
|
|
Go to Effects>Edge>Enhance
|
|
|
Go to Colors>Negative Effect
|
|
|
Go to Effects>Edge>Enhance More
|
|
|
Move the lines over to the left.
Go to Effects>Geometric Effects>Warp.
Use these settings as a guideline.
Experiment with the settings until your satisfied with the effect.

Use the Deform Tool to shape
it some more.
|
|
|
Open the Layer Palette.
Set the Layer Blend Mode to Dodge, lower the Opacity.
