| This tutorial is
NOT to be scripted or made into a "Quick Guide" unless it is
for your own personal use.

To do this tutorial you will need a working knowledge of PSP. If you are new to PSP, or have a problem doing this tutorial, you can find me
at Raven's PSP
forum, be happy to help you out.
You will also need the Eliminate Black
Filter made by Joe Cilinceon. You can find it on the Free
Stuff page at Diztec.com.

Open a new image, 400 X 300, Black background.
On your Main Menu, go to Layers>New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill with Black
On your Main Menu, go to Effects>Illumination Effects>Sunburst
Use these Settings. Color #C0C0C0
|

The Sunburst is gray so it can be colorized.
On your Main Menu, go to Colors>Colorize.
Choose any color you like.

On your Main Menu, go to Effects>Plugin-Filters.
Use the Eliminate Black filter on the Sunburst layer.
On your Main Menu, go to Layers>Duplicate. Repeat 3 times.
You want 5 Sunburst layers

Click on the top layer to activate it.

On your Main Menu, go to Effects>Geometric Effects>Warp.
Use these settings.
 Your image should
look like this

Click on the next layer down to activate it.
On your Main Menu, go to Effects>Geometric Effects>Twirl.
Use this setting.
Hold down the Shift key. Go to your Tool Bar, click on the Mover Tool
.
Move your twirled layer over your warped layer.
Your image should look like this.

Click on the third layer layer down to activate it.
On your Main Menu, go to Effects>Geometric Effects>Wave.
Use these settings.
Don't move this layer.
Your image should now look like this.

Click on the layer above your background layer (Layer 1)
Set your foreground color to Red #FF0000
On your Main Menu, go to Effects>Artistic Effects>Hot Wax Coating.
Go to your Tool Bar, click on the Retouch Tool .
Set your Tool Options to Smudge, with these settings.

Start from the center of your red Sunburst, draw a few angled lines
up.
Your image should now look something like this.

On your Main Menu, go to Effects>Geometric Effects>Twirl.
Use this setting.
Your image should look like this.

On your Main Menu, go to Effects>Geometric Effects>Warp.
Use these settings.

Your image should look like this

Keep Layer 1 active.
Click on the glasses on your background layer to turn it off.

Right click on Layer 1.
Go to Merge>Merge Visible.
|
|
|
On your Main Menu, go to Effects>Blur>Gaussian Blur. Set it to
1.00
On your Main Menu, go to Effects>Illumination Effects>Lights.
Use these settings. Set your light color to #FF9703
|

Turn your background layer back on.
