Work Around for Eye Candy 4 Corona Effect

tutorial is NOT to be scripted or made into a "Quick
Guide" unless it is for your own personal use. |

To do this tutorial you will need a working knowledge of
PSP. If you are new to PSP, or have a problem doing this tutorial, you
can find me at Raven's
PSP forum, be happy to help you out.
You will also need the Eliminate Black
Filter made by Joe Cilinceon. You can find it on the Free
Stuff page at Diztec.com.

Text tutorial.

Open a new image, 450 X 300, Transparent
background. Add your text.
|
|
|
|
On your Main Menu, go to Layers> New Raster Layer.
Flood Fill with black.
On your Main Menu go to Effects>Illumination Effects>Sunburst.
Use the default setting called Center, click OK.

On your Main Menu go to Effects>Blur>Gaussian Blur, set it to 2.
Click OK.

On your Main Menu go to Effects>Geometric Effects>Wave.
Use these settings, click OK.

Apply the Eliminate Black Filter
|
|
|
|
Drag your text layer up, so it will be over the corona effect.
Flood fill your
bottom Layer with a color so you can see your result.
|
|
|
Click on the Deformation Tool
, stretch the corona to the left and right.
Go to your tool options palette and click okay, when you're satisfied
with the look.

Hide the bottom layer by clicking on the glasses for
layer 1.
On your main menu go to Layers>Merge>Merge Visible.
That's it, you're done.:)
