Round Cage

| |
| This
tutorial is NOT to be scripted or made into a "Quick
Guide" unless it is for your own personal use. |
| |
To do this tutorial you will need a working knowledge of PSP. If you
are new to PSP, or have a problem doing this tutorial, you can find me
at Raven's PSP
forum, be happy to help you out.
You will also need the Eliminate Black
Filter made by Joe Cilinceon. You can find it on the Free
Stuff page at Diztec.com.
If you need a larger view of a screen shot, just click on the image.
|
| |
Open a new image 400 x 400, transparent.
Add a new Raster layer, Flood Fill with whatever color or
pattern you would like your cage to be. Select all and contract by
15 pixels.
|
| |
On the main menu go to Effects-Texture Effects-Weave.
Settings: Gap Size 70, Width 4, Opacity 2,
Weave Color Black, Gap Color Black,
click to check Fill Gaps.
|
| |
On the main menu go to Effects-Geometric Effects-Circle.
|
| |
Invert selection. On the main menu go to Edit- Clear
|
| |
Again, invert selection, on the main
menu go to Effects-Plugin Filters and find Eliminate Black Filter.
|
| |
Add a new Raster layer, Flood Fill, contract by
4, Clear
|
| |
Duplicate Layer 1, rotate Copy of
Layer 1 by180
degrees.
|
| |
Do not merge layers, you can group
them though. On your Layer Palette click on the top right for
Layer Groups. Where it says None, left click to raise numbers,
right click to lower numbers. Set all your layers to 1 and you
will be able to move them as one unit and still keep your
separate layers.
