Open a new image 350 X 350, Transparent Background.
Flood fill with
Black.
|
|
|
Go to Layers>Duplicate.
Set the Layer Blend Mode to Screen.
Do the same for each new Layer.
Your Layer Palette should look like this for the lights.

|
|
Go to Effects>Illumination Effects>Sunburst.
Use these settings. Click OK.

|
|
Same layer, use the Sunburst with these settings. Click OK.
Use Sunburst again with the same settings. Click OK.
|
|
|
Go to Layers>Duplicate.
Go to Effects>Geometric Effects>Spiky Halo.
Use these settings. Click OK.
Same layer, repeat the effect 2 more times.

|
On your tool bar, click on the Deform Tool 
Grab the top handle and pull it up some.
Click Apply on your Tool Options Palette.
|
|
|
Add a New Layer, Flood Fill with Black. Set it to Screen.
Use these Sunburst settings. Click OK.
Same Layer, repeat this, but change the Horizontal setting to 80.

|
|
Your image should now look like this.
|
|
|
Open your Layer Palette.
Click on Layer 1 to select it.
Find the Blue Tones Gradient.
Use these settings to Flood Fill Layer 1.
|
|
|
Duplicate Layer 1.
Go to Effects>Geometric Effects>Ripple.
Use these settings.
|
|
|
Go to Effects>Geometric Effects>Circle.
Click on your Deform Tool, pull down from the top of your layer.
When it looks right, click Apply.
|
|
|
On your Tool Bar, click the Magic Wand .
Click on the outside of your circle to select it.
Go to Selections>Invert.
Selections>Modify>Contract 2.
Go to Selections Invert again.
Go Effects>Blur>Blur Average. Set it to 5.
Click Ok.
Go to Selections>Select None.
Your circle should now look smooth around the edges.
Go to Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow.
Use these settings.
Click OK.

Add a new Layer, Hard Light.
Set the Scale to 70 for the Angel.
Set her down and you're done.
|
