Textured Photo Effect

| This tutorial is
NOT to be scripted or made into a "Quick Guide" unless it is
for your own personal use.
To do this tutorial you will need a
working knowledge of PSP. If you are new to PSP, or have a problem doing
this tutorial, you can find me at Raven's PSP
Forum, be happy to help you out.
This is an easy tutorial, I've included many screen shots to try to
show each step in detail.
Step 1
This is the original photo.
Right click to copy and paste into your PSP workspace.
Step 2
Go to Layers>Duplicate
Go to the Photo Toolbar>Enhance Photo>One Step Photo Fix

Step 3
Go to Layers>Duplicate.
Go to Effects>Artistic Effects>Topography.
Use these settings.
Note: For different images experiment
with the Density setting.
Somewhere between 2 and 6 seems to give the best results.
Step 4
Open your layer palette.
Go to Copy (2) of Background, click the small arrow next to
"Normal".
You'll see a drop down menu of the Layer Blend Modes, go to
"Lighten".

| |
Step 5
Go to Adjust>Add/Remove Noise>Edge Preserving Smooth.
Click on the eye icon so you can see the effect preview on your image.
You want to soften the Topography effect just a bit.
| |
Step 6

Go to Layers>Merge>Merge Down.
| |
Step 7
Go to Adjust>Hue and Saturation>Colorize.

Step 8
Change the Layer Blend Mode to Burn.
Step 9
Lower the opacity on "Copy of Background" until you're satisfied
with the look.
That's it, you're done..:)
